Social Media’s Best Practice Leaders Come to Cardiff Conference

On Monday, 23 May 2011, 200+ business leaders from across Wales and Western England will gather to hear a series of top ranked social media presentations during the What’s Next Event 2011t at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in downtown Cardiff.

Global social media and Web gurus Nick Tadd and Trey Pennington lead a programme looking at business applications and innovations on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms. They are joined by Mick Say, James Kirk, Mark Perl, Mark Sinclair and yours truly for a special, informative multi-seminar event, focusing on innovations in social media’s most popular and easiest to access platforms.

Nick Tadd said in a recent article for WalesOnline: “what we have here is akin to a revolution and we’re all part of it – all of us. We are all using technology. We are all accelerating the effect of it. We are all responsible for what its doing – and none of us should be frightened of it. In fact, I would argue that we should all be embracing it. From a business perspective it can deliver better results at a lower cost. It can help companies gain traction, achieve smarter R&D as well as superb PR.”

Event organiser Allan Blair Beaton of Social B2B said: “What’s Next? 2011 will be a no-nonsense, direct, and informative multi-seminar event, focusing on innovations in social media’s most popular and easiest to access platforms. During the course of the day, delegates will be inspired to reach out and take advantage of the innovative advice given by the very experienced and influential speakers.”

I’m honoured to be a part of the programme wrapping up the day’s events with a talk on social media marketing ROI and integrating social media into traditional marketing.
