Donald Trump got spanked this week by Madame Speaker on EVERY front. He lost his shutdown without a wall and his big media moment with the State of the Union Address because Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, is not in her first rodeo. His staff had to explain to him that as the leader of the Article one Branch of government, the House was her chamber and she controlled what went on in their and, most importantly, the C-SPAN cameras. He then capitulated on the shutdown with no funding for the wall and Speaker Pelosi left a restaurant Friday night in DC to thunderous applause from patrons and staff for fighting for them.
The Brexit mess is so bad that 250 companies are meeting with the Dutch to relocate businesses there. Even the Queen is displeased with progress, and said so at a local meeting. It is looking very bad and like delay is the only option but that will heap further uncertainty on an already dangerous situation for Great Britain.
