55a. Best of Three Muckrakers Holiday COP21-Fukushima-Gatsby

3 Muckrakers final w ukp logo (Custom)Happy holidays to all of our listeners. Because COP21 news was hijacked by The Donald being disgusted that Hillary Clinton actually had to wee during the debate (and was forced to walk 1 minute and 45 seconds each way during a three minute commercial break, she was late), we wanted to close the year with a substantive conversation with one of our favourite contributors, the environmental journalist Robert Hunziker (@Robert_Hunziker). We talked about COP21 and Fukushima and how the Japanese Government continues to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. Also Dr. Dario Llinares interviewed Professor Sarah Churchwell earlier this year on her book: Careless People: Murder, Mayhem and the Invention of The Great Gatsby and how it all relates to American politics today. All three interviews were edited and truncated for the original broadcast, we share them with you in their entirety.
