Ep. 131: ’45’s Katrina’

Tropical Storm Harvey, downgraded from a Category Four hurricane when it slammed in Texas on Friday night, continues to spin over Eastern Texas delivering biblical amounts of rain. The storm has dumped all the rain Texas receives from now until February of 2018… in 60 hours. It remains the longest named storm after making landfall since 1971 and it’s not over yet as Houston literally is underwater. President Trump spent the weekend Tweeting hate instead of mobilising every National Guardsman, woman and available boat in the area for desperate rescue operations from biblical sized flooding. 45 continued to Tweet his Federal Government was on top of the storm whilst actually doing nothing. Good luck! Now he will make a visit on Tuesday and get in the way of rescue officials trying to do their job so he can hand out a box of Legos from a truck, then turn around and walk away like he did as a candidate Trump thinking he helped.

Theresa May’s Brexit nightmare continues as it seems even Labour are realising the giant cluster fuck heading our way and they are abandoning the decision to abandon the EEC. And it looks like the European Court will still have jurisdiction in disputes here after Brexit so why exactly are we doing this again? And it looks like her government is in more hot water over their student visa claims that 100K have overstayed? The number is more like 5K. Ooops? And her home office sent deportation letters out to thousands of lawful resident EU Citizens. I can’t watch the car crash is so bad.
