Ep. 102: Trump Steamroller Blues

Just 7 days remain until the Inauguration of as America’s 45th President. We get an ever more increasingly scary view of you know who and his governance style. And that became a terrifying prospect this week as Russia hacked, PEOTUS denied and the US intelligence community raised a middle finger to him releasing the compromising information Russia collected on the President-Elect. He also flailed away in an astoundingly un-Presidential presser where, in a puff of smoke, he made all of his business ethical problems disappear by rolling out an expensive lawyer to issue her own word salad of lawyerese sludge. One problem, the Office of Government Ethics was not buying it.

The NHS crisis in England (and now Wales) is very real and Corbyn and May went a few rounds during PMQ’s but nothing has been resolved other than Corbyn saying oh no you didn’t and the Prime Minister saying oh yes, I did. Meanwhile people are dying this winter and its only January.

Brexit is in real trouble as the financial costs grow even more ridiculous each day, the government has no plan but the Immigration minister said EU nationals working here would be subject to a £1,000 per head levy, giving ‘hope’ to British workers…
