Doctor Who series 9: Filming transforms Medieval village into home for Vikings

Crew from Doctor Who have been spotted at the Cosmeston Medieval Village in the Vale of Glamorgan

n recent times Doctor Who has brought Robin Hood and the Orient Express to life and now the hit BBC show is bringing back the Vikings.

According to reports, Penarth’s Cosmeston Medieval Village is being transformed into a Viking village for filming.

https://penarthnews.wordpress.com/ says that the restored medieval village is being transformed by the crew of Doctor Who who will be familiar with it, as the popular tourist destination was used last year in the episode Robots of Sherwood.

Andrew Graham couldn’t resist a quick ride to the village on Tuesday night and took these pictures.
